Okay, No More Ignoring the Elephant in the Room... WHO WATCHED SMASH LAST NIGHT??

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Tue, Feb 7, 2012 at 1:29 PM

Stop acting embarrassed, and just admit it: You watched the NBC debut of Smash last night, and you ashamedly kind of loved the shit out of it, didn't you? Sure, it had a wobbly beginning, and DEBRA MESSING (ugh!)—but if you're a fan of the THEE-AH-TUH or a fan of making fun of the THEE-AH-TUH, Smash had some decent songs, pretty good performances, and was chock-a-block full of hilarious, cringe butt moments. Watch the whole thing here if you like, or scenes from the coming season below, and let me know... should we be recapping this show or what? (Remember: If it helps, comments can be anonymous!)

WHAT!?!
Was that show on last night?
Why doesn't that network promote when a show like this is going to be on so people like me know when to watch it. I'll be lost trying to catch up with the story now. I might as well not even try.

Why isn't it set in Portland like all those other shows?

I watched 3 weeks ago on the On Demand.

But I still loved it in a shame filled way.

@MonkeyBeat - You must not watch very often because it seems to me they've been running promos pretty much non-stop for about 3 months.

@Jim - You and I must not watch the same shows, because this show is new to me. Had the programmers bought ad time during any of the shows I love (biggest loser, KGW news, the voice, the super bowl) I surely would have seen it, and tuned in to watch it.
However, the point is moot since I missed the first episode and will never be able to catch up. It's dead to me know.

They have been promoting it on every show/sports event I stream. What do you have against Debra Messing Humphrey? the fact that she is not 17?
