Tonight: Sailor & Lula & Clarence & Alabama

Posted by Courtney Ferguson on Tue, Feb 14, 2012 at 1:44 PM

This town's got a lot of dirty, crazy love to spread around tonight. You can catch David Lynch's 1990 Wild at Heart at the Bagdad at 8:30 pm or the Tony Scott/Quentin Tarantino joint True Romance at 8:30 pm at the Hollywood. That's a lot of creepy kooky to choose from, you know. Also grossest bad guy alert: That would have to be a toss-up between Gary Oldman in True or Willem Dafoe in Wild, although my money's on Dafoe (more like a "floss-up," right?). Now go make like big ol' jackrabbit bunnies.

"Wild at heart, and weird on top."

"I would never have guessed that true romance and Detroit would ever go together."

If you're lucky enough to find it (perhaps online somewhere), I highly recommend the "Tarantino Cut" of True Romance. It's a much better movie that follows the original screenplay.
