Well, I Guess You Can Watch Whitney Houston's Funeral, If You're Into That Sort of Thing

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Fri, Feb 17, 2012 at 1:59 PM

Whitney Houston's funeral will take place this Saturday, and yes, if that's your "thing," you may certainly watch it on television.

E! cable channel has just announced that it is planning an E! News Special Report, Whitney Houston: The Funeral, beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET/ 8:30 a.m. PT on Saturday.

The channel will air uninterrupted live coverage from inside the New Hope Baptist Church and offer up-to-the-minute details via the E! Online Twitter feed.

You know... I don't like funerals. And unless it's a family member or friend, I don't make it a priority to attend one. However, if I do attend one, I don't necessarily think it's a good idea to "twitter" it. And I especially don't enjoy attending funerals that have been given a "name," such as "Whitney Houston: The Funeral." I know it's a lot to ask of E!, but I don't think it's very tasteful to juxtapose the memory of Whitney with Hot Dog: The Movie.

But HEY. That's just me. If you've got a better name for Whitney Houston's funeral, feel free to put it in the comments. IF YOU'RE THAT KIND OF PERSON.
