Good News, Bad News, Good News: The Return of Community!

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Tue, Feb 21, 2012 at 2:44 PM

Community is returning in March, so sayeth Community creator Dan Harmon's Twitter machine:

But before you get too excited, naturally there's some slightly bad news. From Hitfix:

The slightly bad news — but only very slightly — is that something's gotta give on NBC's Thursday schedule to make room for this, and for the moment, that something is "Parks and Recreation," which will take a 5-week break after its 18th episode of the season airs, returning on April 19 so that its final four episodes of the season can air after "The Office."

But here's some good news: Community's Danny Pudi and Alison Brie doing an unscripted rendition of "Everybody Dance Now" in the studio parking lot. A-DOR-ABLE!

Why do people keep saying that's "slightly" bad news? Leave Parks and Rec on the schedule and cut some other crap to make room for this, he screamed into the Internet void in a comical display of futility.

This is the worst thing I've ever heard. Why must good news come with horrible news?

I don't have time in my day to feel all of the feelings that this post is making me feel.

I agree Joneser, which is why I'm going to my Swanson Pyramid of Greatness for guidance. Oh! There's the emotion: rage.

I feel like this ad campaign should have been written like this: "What you call 8 o'clock, we call home. Community returns to Thursday nights on March 15th."

or "8pm"

I think "8:00" doesn't strongly evoke words.
