It's Happening Tonight!

POW!—The Portland Women's Film Festival (POW Fest) kicks off its fifth year tonight with a program of locally made short films at the Hollywood, followed by a beer and music-filled opening-night party. Then, throughout the weekend, they'll be showing films made by women filmmakers. Go. EH

—Calling wildlife enthusiasts and vampire fetishists alike: Tonight, the World Forestry Center opens its door for a 21+ evening of their exhibit Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats. Learn about your favorite flying furry goth creatures without the children and with a complimentary alcoholic beverage. Mwahahahaha! MS
