Comic Books Cartoonist Matt Bors Wins Herblock Prize

Big congrats are due today to Mercury pal Matt Bors, who was just announced as the 2012 recipient of the Herblock Prize for Excellence in Editorial Cartooning. That's a 15k cash prize and a "sterling silver Tiffany trophy," and it couldn't have gone to a nicer or more hard-working guy. Bors' cartoons are syndicated nationally (including in the Mercury), and he's also the Comics Journalism Editor at Cartoon Movement. He drew this comic for this week's Mercury sex issue.
