Rick Santorum Says Wildly Stupid Thing

Posted by Paul Constant on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 2:44 PM

Here is something Rick Santorum just said about global warming:

"The dangers of carbon dioxide? Tell that to a plant, how dangerous carbon dioxide is," he said.

Here are things I predict Rick Santorum will say next:

"The dangers of breathing water? Tell that to a fish, how dangerous breathing water can be," Santorum said at the Creationist Scuba Diving Convention in Baton Rouge this weekend.

"The dangers of flying through the air under your own power? Tell that to a common barn swallow, the dangers of flapping your arms at a great height," Santorum scolded the Sky Divers of America in Springfield on Tuesday.

"The dangers of 15 times the radiation it would take to kill a cockroach? Tell that to deinococcus radiodurans, the dangers of excessive radiation," Santorum informed some guy at a bar in Quincy, Massachusetts the other night.

"The dangers of living in an environment 400 times greater than atmospheric pressure, with a salt concentration more than ten times that of sea water? Tell that to MSBLs 1 through 6, how dangerous it is living in an environment 400 times greater than atmospheric pressure, with a salt concentration more than ten times that of sea water," Santorum said to nobody in particular, right before afternoon pudding.
