Tonight's GOP Primaries: Race for the Hillbillies

Posted by Paul Constant on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 1:44 PM

Polling shows Mississippi and Alabama to be very tight races. Gingrich and Santorum are so equally matched in the deep south that Romney could run right up the middle and steal the races from the Not-Romneys. Or Gingrich could wind up capturing his first non-home-state win in almost two months. Or Santorum could win and demand that Gingrich quit and make it a two-man race. Or any combination of those things could happen. Or Ron Paul could win and—HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No, sorry, I thought I could get that out with a straight face, but I just couldn't do it.

Polls close tonight at 5 pm PST.
