Interurban: Now Here's Something I Haven't Tried

Posted by Clare Gordon on Thu, Apr 5, 2012 at 1:44 PM

My first visit to Interurban (4057 N Mississippi St) left a generally good impression of the place. It wasn't too crowded, they had some good music going, and the bartender introduced me to a few new kinds of whiskey based on the shot of Woodford Reserve that I ordered. Everything you want in a bar on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. But what made the visit especially memorable was this little treat the bartender pulled out for a friend and was generous enough to slide across the bar for my friend and I to try.

only in Portland

It's a Manhattan jello shot. That's a cherry at the bottom.
Yeah. Moments like these are what make drinking on weeknights totally worth it.
