Remember when Einstein Bros/Noah's bought Portland's Kettleman Bagel Co.? It bummed some folks out. But! The majority of Kettleman shops around town haven't closed—yet. Want to know which one are still around before they become devoured by bigger names? Check out Pete Keen's website solely devoted to this hot button issue.

So far, it looks like only one of the five shops are out (22 and NE Broadway). Catch the others while you can! If you want.

And why was Keen compelled to create such a website? "A friend of mine tweeted yesterday despondently when he found his favorite location closed, with a big Einstein poster slapped on the front. I was sitting at the SE location this morning contemplating this and then it occurred to me that, if we have http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and http://www.isitchristmas.com, why not have one about Kettleman?"
