Watch the Premiere Episode of Girls

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Mon, Apr 16, 2012 at 10:14 AM

Who watched last night's premiere episode of Lena Dunham's Girls on HBO? I saw it too, and while it wasn't quite the yuk-fest I was expecting, this is still smart, funny and very different from anything else currently on the tube. Lena Dunham's Hannah (and her NYC friends) are the antithesis of the Sex and the City gals in that they are all wallowing on the brink of failure (in their professional and romantic lives), and if you see a lot of yourself in their awkward mid-20s crisis—well, I did too!

HBO just posted the full first 30-minute episode of the Judd Apatow-produced series, and I would highly recommend you watch it here on your lunch break, and then come back to tell me what you think!
