You Can Listen to All of the New Ramona Falls Album

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 3:14 PM

Prophet, the much anticipated new record from Ramona Falls, comes out next week, but right now the whole thing is streaming in full on Stereogum. Strap on some headphones and go over and listen to it now. It's another fine work from Brent Knopf and crew, following Ramona Falls' excellent 2009 debut Intuit and Knopf's departure from Menomena at the beginning of 2011. A new song, "Brevony," premiered on Pitchfork last week as well, and it continues the the album's tradition of unusual song titles (advance tracks by the names of "Spore" and "Sqworm" have also premiered).

Prophet comes out Tuesday, May 1 and Ramona Falls will perform an in-store at Music Millennium (3158 E Burnside) at 6 pm that evening. It's free and all ages. They're also playing a local release show at the Doug Fir (830 E Burnside) on Friday, May 18. Oh, and the intricate packaging for the new album looks absolutely INSANE.

Stream the Ramona Falls album at Stereogum.
