Portland is outrageously blessed in the comic book store department, and tomorrow you can visit any or all of them to cash in on some Free Comic Book Day activities—in addition to handing out freebies (here's a list!), a few stores will be hosting signings from local comic book creators.

Cosmic Monkey in particular has a packed slate:

Joelle Jones ( You Have Killed Me, Madame Xanadu)
Joshua Williamson ( Voodoo, Sketch Monsters)
Heather Finley ( Zombies VS Cheerleaders)
Zack Soto ( Secret Voice, Study Group)
Jason "JFish" Fisher ( Junque Land, studiojfish)
Celina Hernandez ( Chibi Comics)
Michael Murphy ( Chibi Comics)
Shawn Aldridge ( Vic Boone)
Jeremy Sheperd ( The Engineer, Hex)
Jon Ascher ( Neil: An Existential Crisis)
Jesse Reklaw ( Slow Wave, Night Of Your Life)
Steve Lieber ( White Out, Shooter)
Aron Nels Steinke ( Neptune, Super Crazy Cat Dance)
Adam Watson ( Ghost Assassin, Darkslinger Comics)
Tony Morgan ( Chronicles of Van Helsing, Chicken Leg Bone Boy)
Tim Root (Crappy Comics, Study Group)
Farel Dalrymple ( Omega The Unknown, Prophet)

Things from Another World and Bridge City Comics are also in on the action.

Floating World, meanwhile, has teamed up with Spark Plug, Teenage Dinosaur, and Revival House to release the 32-page anthology BRAD TRIP, featuring the work of 8 Portland artists who will be on hand at the store from noon-2 pm.
