The Portland Fruit Beer Festival is upon us, and it is so serious this year they have even arranged a street closure (7th and East Burnside). That’s not easy, nor I imagine inexpensive, and given all the PR I’m getting from their camp, I’m predicting a pretty solid event. With over thirty breweries sending entries, plus another 20-30 rare one-off kegs, and food vendors, attendees are guaranteed a solid, beery afternoon before the—get this—live music on the kink.fm stage.

The schedule is such:

Friday June 8th Pre-Fest Homebrewers Dinner
Saturday June 9th Festival from 11am-9pm
Sunday June 10th Festival from 11am-6pm
