Mad Men Reading List

Posted by Alison Hallett on Tue, Jun 12, 2012 at 11:29 AM

Despite that the Mad Men season finale was borrrring, I will nonetheless miss it; I think this season has been great. Anticipating Don Draper withdrawal, The Millions has a list of "Ten Books to Read when Mad Men Is Over"—a list that, as writer Hannah Gersen notes in her intro, dodges the predictable Cheever and Yates, stepping outside Mad Men's world of heavy-drinking sadmen and their fucked-up wives to explore the show's social and historical context.
