Homeless / Food Dining With Dignity This Month

More charitable dining options... This entire month of July, restaurants and cafes around town are committing to donate 10% of a day's profits to Sisters of the Road for their annual Dining With Dignity fundraiser. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar as a part of their Full Plate Project summer campaign. Check out the calendar here, choose a time and place to dine, and help raise funds for one of the best non-profit organizations in the city. They've been helping the hungry in Portland for over 30 years, setting an incredible standard for local community outreach and meanwhile lobbying for economic human rights.

And perhaps the best part of this entire idea is the name, because when I googled it, THIS came up. Thanks, universe.
