Skate Friendly PDX Signs Installed in West Hills

I reported this month on the debate over whether downhill skateboarding in the city can ever be made safe or whether the city should move forward on a proposal to ban skating in the West Hills. Well, as city council tabled the skate ban idea, a group of skaters and employees of four city bureaus are installing "Skate Safe" signage around the controversial Southwest Streets. Check out the cute sign:
