Music New Menomena Song! "Heavy Is as Heavy Does"

I told you some details about Moms, the new Menomena record, but now you don't have to read stupid words about what I think, because you can hear some of it for yourself! Menomena premiered the first advance track from the record this morning, and it's a deceptive doozy. "Heavy Is as Heavy Does"—a variation on my motto of "Heavy D Is as Heavy D Does" RIP HEAVY:(—starts off as a contemplative piano ballad before erupting into a lurching, widescreen saga, with plenty of gnashing guitar and deep sax.

Moms comes out September 18, and Menomena will play MusicfestNW on September 7.
