Books / SEX British People Like Dirty Sex Better Than Harry Potter

And just four months after its publication in book form [in the UK], Fifty Shades of Grey is outselling Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code and JK Rowling’s Harry Potter books, say experts.
EL James’s erotic novel, released as an e-book last June and in book form in April, has sold 5.3million print and digital copies, according to publishers Random House.
Combine that with the news that some hotel chains are replacing the bedside Bibles with copies of Fifty Shades of Grey, and I think the consensus is clear. Ladies and gentlemen, we have our new Bible. Who's going to wear the funny hats and start insisting that couples who don't do S&M are an abomination in the eyes of E.L. James?
