TV Lunchtime TV: The New Normal

Got any lunch plans today? Of course you don't. So slap on those headphones, cram an egg salad sandwich in your mouth, and watch the premiere episode of NBC's The New Normal (debuting on stupid regular TV on Sept. 11 at 9:30 pm). Created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story! Yay! Glee! Booooo.), it's a dramedy about a gay couple who desperately want a kid, and the single surrogate mom who bakes their baby in her vagina oven. (Apparently I know nothing about human reproduction.) It's been getting heat from the usual dumb suspects, but nothing to fear here! While not side-splitting funny, it's cute and gets big points on the sweet scale. It's only 30 minutes, so check out The New Normal here on Hulu!
