Another week, another Mercury music section that contains scant mention of the world's richest drummers. Okay, we'd be shocked if Ringo Starr and Phil Collins weren't on the list, but no Dave Weckl? No Kenny Aronoff? NO TERRY BOZZIO????

Chromatics are bigger than Portland now, but we'll keep claiming them as one of our own, especially if they keep putting out masterpieces like the absolutely stunning Kill for Love.LISTEN:

I always considered it one of rock's cruelest twists that one of its best songwriters, Ian Hunter, didn't write his own biggest hit. (That would be Mott the Hoople's "All the Young Dudes," which David Bowie wrote.) But make no mistake: Ian Hunter is one of the all-time greats, and he's coming to Portland.
