Heads up, comics readers/readers in general: The partially based-in-Portland Top Shelf Productions is having its annual web sale, and they've slash-slash-slashed prices on a ton of great books. The full sale list is here, but here are a few books I'd recommend in particular. Holy jesus some of these are cheap.

• Jeff Lemire's latest, The Underwater Welder (we're reviewing it next week!) ($10)
Wizzywig by Ed Piskor (I reviewed it a few weeks ago) $10
• A couple of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Vol. III issues for $5 each (hey, I reviewed these too)
• Alan Moore's prose novel Voice of the Fire for $3
• Craig Thompson's fantastic Blankets—$20 softcover, $25 hardcover—and underrated Carnet de Voyage for $5
• The fun, nautical-themed Far Arden by Kevin Cannon for $8
• Paul Tobin and Colleen Coover's Gingerbread Girl (Alison interviewed Tobin) for $3
Veeps by Bill Kelter and Wayne Shellabarger (Kelter just weighed in on Paul Ryan in an interview with Alison that's here) for $3
