Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow night at the Jack London, the Mercury and The Stranger are throwing an unofficial Wordstock after party, featuring happy hour prices all night for Wordstock attendees (preserve your hand stamp!), a storytelling duel between Stranger and Mercury writers, AND a chance for two audience members to tell stories of their own, and maybe win a signed copy of How to Be a Person: The Stranger's Guide to Sex, Intoxicants, Tacos, and Life Itself, by staff of The Stranger. Our storytelling theme is "When We Were Young and Dumb"; Bobby Roberts and I will be telling stories for the Mercury side, and Stranger editors Bethany Jean Clement and Christopher Frizzelle will be repping our big sister paper. The whole shebang is hosted by Blogtown funnyman/local comedian Alex Falcone. So! It should be a really fun time. And it's free! And drink specials. Doors at 7, storytelling at 8, drinking to follow.
