Politics Interview with a Man Who Got a Romney/Ryan Face Tattoo

Politico interviews Eric Hatsburg, a professional wrestler from Indiana who got the Romney campaign logo tattooed on his face:

“Totally disappointed, man,” Hartsburg told POLITICO. “I’m the guy who has egg all over his face, but instead of egg, it’s a big Romney/Ryan tattoo. It’s there for life.”

Hartsburg’s tattoo covers a 5-by-2 inch space on the side of his face, and he did it after raising $5,000 on eBay for the effort. He didn’t even tell his wife he planned to get the tattoo until about an hour before.

Here's the beginning of a sentence that I'd never thought I'd write: The smart thing to do with that face tattoo would be to get a mirror image on the other side and add a few bars to the design to make it a generic, patriotic face tattoo. But I'm willing to bet Hartsburg isn't all that upset about his infamy right now, anyway. He's like Joe the Plumber for 2012 with an even lower IQ.
