Politics Noted Shitbag Grover Norquist Wishes Every Month Was Armageddon

Here's Grover Norquist's big idea to help the Republican Party regain its credibility:

[Congress] can give [President Obama] debt ceiling increases once a month. They can have him on a rather short leash, you know, here’s your allowance, come back next month.

So after getting every Republican to sign a pledge saying that they'll never, under any circumstances, raise taxes, Norquist's next big idea is to put the government on the brink of collapse twelve times a year? How is this man who has never held elected office one of the most powerful Republicans in the nation?
