Astral Bodies

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Wed, Dec 5, 2012 at 11:29 AM

Want to fill a room in Portland? Throw a lingerie show. Lille Boutique is hosting the second of two lingerie showcases scheduled for this otherwise dressed-in-layers month (the other, this Friday, is being thrown by Oh Baby) on Wednesday Dec 12. Called "Astral Bodies," a presentation of the new collection from Fortnight Lingerie, which is actually inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. Here's an actually rather spooky teaser:

Ack! Anyhow, Astral Bodies is also a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, and pre-sale tickets for the runway portion of the show are already sold out! However, a scant 15 tickets will be released at the door day-of, and the after party/raffle extravaganza—catered by Luce, with cupcakes donated by Cupcake Jones, and music by the Sex Life DJs—is free to attend. Perhaps this town needs more lingerie shows in general? Seems like there's a market demand happening here.
