Two especially cool dining events of note this week:

TONIGHT
Double Dragon's one-year anniversary party, complete with free food and booze, is tonight. From 6-9pm, or until they run out, enjoy complimentary banh mi, bao, duck wings, and a host of other upcoming menu additions, as well as three different exotic liquor-based punches. It's an incredibly generous deal by chef/owner Rob Walls, whom I suspect is about to get hit with a slew of new customers. Our review of Double Dragon is here.

SUNDAY
Rum Club's latest Sunday Supper still has seats available. Former Le Pigeon chef Bones will be cooking gougeres, oyster stew, smoked trout, and lamb navarin, which will be paired with Adam Robinson's polished cocktails, as well as pastry by Clare Gordon of Riffle/Ava Genes. The five top-shelf cocktails alone are nearly worth the $55 price of admission, so this is a hell of a deal. Sign-up details are here.
