Tragedy #5736: Alison Can't Decide Which Ben Dewey Print to Buy

Posted by Alison Hallett on Thu, Dec 13, 2012 at 12:29 PM

I love, love, love the work of local comics artist Benjamin Dewey—full disclosure, he's done Erik's & my show Comics Underground a few times, once in a monkey mask—and he's currently offering 25% off all items in his Etsy store. Which is great! Except I kind of want to buy every single print in his Etsy store. His Tragedy Series is about the many bad things that could happen to you, but probably haven't. It's hilarious and poignant and weird, and if you're not familiar, welcome to the next two hours of your life.

Print-wise, I'm leaning strongly toward this one for obvious reasons:

Though Call of the Wild is great, and Capybara's Blanket makes me laugh every time I look at it. And of course, Sheriff Puppy is a classic.

[Yeah... I'm basically blogging my Christmas shopping today.]
