Today, like any other day, I woke up to my stupid ass iPhone alarm. 5 a.m. Put my Carhartts on and headed to work. Normal day. Thought about the errands I have to run when I get off; DEQ, change the headlight in my car, maybe go out with some friends. After all, it's Friday right? And then I heard about what happened in Connecticut today. Two gunmen entered an elementary school and murdered 27 people. Possibly more. It's an ongoing situation at this point. This saddens me greatly. As human beings we have the potential to do fantastic and astonishingly kind thing for one another yet these rogues violently appear and steal the small monicre of peace we've been allotted. It makes me wish I could've talked to these people. Reached out to them. Listened.
