BOOKS—Few fantasy epics are as... well, epic as the Wheel of Time series, begun by the late Robert Jordan and—now, over two decades later—finished by Brandon Sanderson. Tonight, Sanderson reads from the series' final book, A Memory of Light. Nerds, expect to be both sighing with relief and weeping with dismay. It's okay, everybody. Life will go on. EH

CLASSIC FILM—Cinema 21's been killing it lately, showing classic films in 35mm based on themes and directors. This week's no exception: Their "Notes from the Underground" series consists of David Lynch's Blue Velvet, Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, and David Fincher's Fight Club. Hot damn! See one for $6, two for $9, or say fuck it and make it a triple feature for $12. EH
Cinema 21, 616 NW 21st, $6-12, see Film Times for showtimes
