Let's all take this moment to promise before God and The Commenters, that we're going to stop referring to things as porn that are not porn. Pinterest, for example is not full of "food porn" as people keep telling me. I've spent a lot of time on Pinterest and I've not seen one picture of somebody screwing a baked potato or getting head from a steak.

Haven't you guys seen the Internet?!? It'll clear up pretty quickly what is and is not porn. Eater PDX's series they call Cocktail Porn? Actually contains 0% porn. It's mostly just links to cocktail menus. For contrast, this picture of a martini with boobs? That's cocktail porn.

Actual cocktail porn.
  • Actual cocktail porn.

This subreddit called Gun Porn is NOT porn. Come on, Reddit. I know you've seen the Internet. This is gun porn:

This is gun porn. Turned on?
  • This is gun porn. Turned on?

If you're tempted to compare something to porn just because it has high quality images, think to yourself, "Have I seen the Internet? I bet they have actual ________ porn. I'll think of a better metaphor."
