Premiere: Shy Girls on Into the Woods' 50th Episode "Feels Like Home"

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Wed, Mar 13, 2013 at 10:44 AM

We've got a special premiere of the latest video from local music documentarians Into the Woods ( It's the 50th installment—their golden anniversary episode!—of the "Feels Like Home Series," in which the crew visits a band in their native habitat, ie. rehearsal space, home, or (often) both. This shoot took place on a 3rd floor apartment above East End, transforming a typical Portland apartment into the scene for Shy Girls' gossamer R&B, perhaps the most romantic music being made in this city right now. We get up close with every member of the seven-piece band as "Under Attack" builds to a steady climax. Check it out.

You can also peep in on Into the Woods' site, which includes a writeup of the video shoot by Will Giardino.
