SMALL PRESS FEST—Death bells continue to toll for the publishing scene, but Portland's small press scene is more vibrant than ever. For the sixth year in a row, Smallpressapalooza's marathon reading festival showcases the city's finest indie authors, zinesters, and poets. AH
Powell's City of Books, 1005 W Burnside, 6-10 pm, FREE

Mississippi Pizza Pub, 3552 N Mississippi, 8 pm, pay to play
