The Hollywood's New Marquee Is Looking Pretty Slick

Via the Hollywood Theatre's Kickstarter page comes the news that the theater's fancy-pants new marquee has started to be installed:

I'm oddly comforted by this. I always think of the Hollywood as being, well, the heart of the Hollywood district—but I hadn't realized how big of a role the marquee, rather than just the facade, plays in that perception. Driving past the theater over the past few weeks, when there hasn't been a marquee there at all, the whole neighborhood has felt oddly empty.
