This Week In Ridiculous Pop Music

Posted by Alex Falcone on Wed, Sep 18, 2013 at 10:14 AM

Britney Spears - "Work Bitch"
She's back with an incorrectly punctuated song title and she would like you to... work more? I wish she'd stop calling me a bitch, but her point is a good one: If you want a Maserati, you need to work. Unless you're cute and then you can half-ass a music career. No video yet, but at least there's this picture with her boobs Photoshopped out.

Miley Cyrus - "Wrecking Ball"
I loved "We Can't Stop" and I won't tolerate anybody saying anything bad about it. But this one, it's not so much fun. It's a more serious number (fake tears!) but I've never been able to take anybody seriously while they're licking a sledge hammer.

Eminem - "Berzerk"
Eminem is back with a solid, but not life changing song produced by and co-starring The Most Interesting Man In The World, Rick Rubin. I'm a sucker for a giant boombox, plus the song has one of my favorite YouTube comment exchange of all time.
"Eminem´╗┐ is timeless"
"Well thats because this song is a tribute to´╗┐ Beastie Boys"
