I've got a handful of tickets to give away to the Broadway Across America touring production of American Idiot, a rock opera based on the 2004 Green Day album of the same name.

The musical strings together a narrative out of the songs on American Idiot, about drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, wasted lives, you know, typical Broadway fare. The New York Times called the musical "thrillingly raucous and gorgeously wrought," and "as invigorating and ultimately as moving as anything on Broadway this season."

To win a pair of tickets to see the show on Tuesday, Nov 12, email me by noon tomorrow with "American Idiot" in the subject line. Only catch is, you have to be able to swing by the Mercury offices downtown during business hours in order to pick up your tickets.

No musical has ever seemed like a good idea based on the preview video, but here you go:

brb gotta go listen to Dookie for four hours.
