'Tis the season for giving, and here is a truly worthy cause. Musician Tom Bevitori, of twangin' local band Denver, has been dealing with some serious health issues lately. He's suffered from some infections related to Crohn's disease and spent a few weeks in the hospital. To that end, some friends are hosting a benefit show to aid him with medical and living expenses, and those friends include Blitzen Trapper, Dolorean, Portland Country Underground, and Jake Ray. This is all happening at the Secret Society on Monday, December 16. A bill like that in a venue the Secret Society's size would be news enough, but add on this great cause and it becomes a remarkable event. What's more is that a special guest band will perform as well—although it can't be announced because they're playing a show later this week. Still, it should be super obvious who it is just from reading this post.

Tickets are on sale over at Secret Society's site. It's $15 and seeing the fantastic, infrequently playing Dolorean on its own would be more than enough reason to throw down.
