Christopher Nolan in Spaaaaaace

Posted by Erik Henriksen on Mon, Dec 16, 2013 at 10:59 AM

What do we know about Christopher Nolan's Interstellar? Not much, except it (A) was originally a Steven Spielberg joint, (B) stars Matthew McConaughey, who these days can do no wrong, and Jessica Chastain (hooray!) and Anne Hathaway (boo!), (C) it has to do with... space? It definitely has something to do with space. Oh, and is legally required for every Christopher Nolan film since Batman Begins, Michael Caine will be in it. Possibly as an... alien? Probably as an alien.

Here's the impressive first teaser, which functions more of a tone-setter as anything else—so long as that tone is making every American feel sad and embarrassed that our once-proud nation can no longer properly finance a working space program. U-S-A! U-S-A!
