MUSIC—Brighton, England trio Peggy Sue's brand-new album is called Choir of Echoes, and the name certainly fits. VARIETY SHOW—Entertainment for People is a consistently top-notch variety show featuring Portland's best writers and performers—and now they're taking it monthly with the New Shit Show, an ongoing affair promising new material from an ensemble that includes local lovelies Laura Gibson (who's out of town for this particular show), Arthur Bradford, and Andrew Dickson.
