Below are two things I'm excited about; you may or may not share my enthusiasm.

1) Via a press release announcing that Paramount's putting Anchorman 2 back into theaters, this time with more jokes and an R rating:

“When my editor told me we had a whole different version of the movie that was more than two hours long with nearly 800 new jokes, I was shocked. But when Paramount said they were actually going to put it in theaters, I did an 1950's spit take. If you're a hardcore Anchorman fan go see this. If you're not, stay very far away," said writer/director Adam McKay.

That comes out for a weeklong run on February 28. I will see it, though I'll probably wait until it's inevitably just out on Blu-ray. As I suspect most people will, even Anchorman fans: I really liked the new Anchorman, but hell, the first, shorter version that was released still a little flabby.

2) Via Bleeding Cool comes... well, not the most promising sentence ever:

This one was filmed a good while back but will finally get released on April 4th in limited theaters and on VOD.

That sounds like a goddamn kiss of death—BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, the film in question is In the Blood, the latest film starring Gina Carano, star of my beloved Haywire. And it has a SINISTER LUIS GUZMAN. And the bad guy from Avatar! And Treat Motherfucking Williams!

Okay, that doesn't look... that is... that looks like a film that was filmed a good while back and is now getting a VOD and limited release. But I will still watch the hell out of it.

3) Unexpected third bonus item! Treat Williams, right? QUESTION: Who else besides me misses Everwood, right? Right? Anybody?
