Colbert Gets Letterman's Job; Rush Limbaugh Says Something Stupid

Posted by Wm.™ Steven Humphrey on Thu, Apr 10, 2014 at 1:59 PM

As mentioned earlier, Stephen Colbert will be taking over David Letterman's late night gig... which most people (including David Letterman) seem okay with... except for Rush Limbaugh, who bellowed, "CBS just declared war on the heartland of America." WAR! HEARTLAND! TRIGGER WORDS! Limbaugh went on to say...

“No longer is comedy going to be a covert assault on traditional American values, conservatives––now it’s just going to be wide out in the open. What this hire means is a redefinition of what is funny and a redefinition of what is comedy.”

I truthfully thought we were not being "covert" at all. We need to up our game, people!

P.S. By the way, #CancelColbert hashtag activist Suey Park finally responds to Colbert's new gig. Sort of.

Good to know!
