I don't know about you, but I'm skipping out of work to binge watch season two of Orange is the New Black, which popped up on Netflix last night at midnight. SEE YA, SUCKAAAAAHS!

Okay, fine. In the interest of "doing my job," here are a few choice articles designed to inform you of what to expect with season two, and help you make it through this long, Orange is the New Black-less day.

From Salon:

The second season of “Orange Is the New Black” is much less like a manic, comedic prison-themed episode of “The L-Word” and much more of a smart drama that respects itself enough to lean into its heavier moments without always retreating to the safety of one-liners.

From Flavorwire:

If you loved Season 1 of Orange Is the New Black, then you will love Season 2. You might, I strongly suspect, love it even more. You will certainly race through the 13 episodes as quickly as you can, perhaps even in one viewing, pausing only for bathroom breaks or to answer the door for food delivery.

From Hitfix:

Man oh man are the first six episodes of "Orange" season 2 wonderful. In many ways, they're better than their counterparts from the first season, because Jenji Kohan has a better sense of the stories, characters and actors she has on hand, and can deploy them in even more effective fashion.

And in a related story, if you're having trouble streaming Netflix because you're a Verizon customer, that's because it's ALL VERIZON'S FAULT. (But they don't want you to know that!)

Happy Orange is the New Black day, everybody!
