The ink has dried on the deal that will replace beloved NE hang, Tiga, with a Southern-style brunch spot. The bar posted this the other day:

After over 8 wonderful years, Tiga will close it’s doors on Saturday September 6th.
Over the years we have met a lot of amazing people and developed many meaningful and lifelong friendships. We have been honored to provide a humble and simple place to facilitate and foster the art, music, and fun times that have brought us all together. We can’t thank you enough for all your love and support over the years. The Tiga community has been and will continue to be a very special part of our lives.
As we consolidate our efforts and focus on the future we know our paths will continue to cross whether it’s at a coffee shop, a record store or at Beech Street Parlor! xo Tiga.
