Not a terrible batting average, but the appearance of Modest Mouse in the lineup could have been guessed, as could have the Golden God himself, Monsieur Robert Plant, as he's performing at the Bottleneck fest in Napa around that same time.

Other pleasant surprises: Diarrhea Planet! Who are great. Great great great. Leslie Jones and Pete Davidson from SNL in the comedy tent. Cool. Also: Ought, Quilt, Merchandise, Benjamin Booker, Real Estate, Shovels and Rope, Perfume Genius, Woods, King Tuff, Phox, STRAND OF MOTHERFUCKIN' OAKS Y'ALL, Ex Hex, and Jenn Ghetto's S.

It's a good lineup, with Kendrick Lamar at the top. The only real snooze factor I see at the top of the bill is Of Monsters and Men, whose one song is still currently playing at a grocery store near you. Tame Impala, St. Vincent, and the New Pornographers are always solid choices, James Blake seems to do it for some people, and I guess we're not tired of Future Islands yet.
