Tonight is the winter installment of the bi-annual Fade to Light fashion (and film) show, which means if you haven't gotten your tickets already, your only option is the Crystal Ballroom box office. It's well worth it; this is one of the most popular design exhibitions going, and there are often surprises to go along with beautiful, creative designs.

Primal Haunt has been a participant in the last few shows, a line that has showcased the textile designs of Kate Troyer with various collaborators—currently fashion designer Shelby Morgan. They are in the process of re-branding as Veil & Valor, and Troyer describes the new collection, titled "The Toad Frog," as being "inspired by influences of Frida Kahlo, folk art, and the ballet. All textiles are hand rendered and hand-printed in this collection with some unique one-of-a-kind pieces."
