The Fashion Noteworthy Book Club is hitting the Portland Art Museum at 6 this evening to view the Italian Style exhibit for the institution's Fourth Free Friday, and all are welcome to join them.

• North of West is having a Seconds Sale on ceramics, apparel, and textiles from the trio behind the shop: Pigeon Toe Ceramics, Nell & Mary, and Make It Good. That's tomorrow from 11 am-3 pm.

• This Sunday (4-6 pm) is the grand opening of the new sewing, screen-printing, and jewelry focused arm of ADX, The Cube Craft Lab.

—Wendy Ohlendorf of Magenta is opening a showroom to be called, fittingly, Boulevard de Magenta at 632 SW Pine, with a public grand opening scheduled for Sunday, March 22, from 5-8 pm. It is said to boast "a shimmering new finish, an 'industrial glam' sense of style, and handcrafted lighting by 9th Avenue Iron Works."

—A date for the spring edition of Crafty Wonderland has been named: Saturday, May 9 at the good old Convention Center.

—Another new atelier/shop has arrived at 3539 SE Hawthorne: a.ell is a new location for returning (from Hawaii) Portlander Angelique Ell, who designs eco-conscious clothing cut and sewn on the premises (as well as at her first shop, in Kauai).

—Another for your calendar: The Emerge: Spring Fashion Pop-Up is coming to Tillamook Station on Saturday, March 21, featuring nine up and coming designers repping everything from "modern, edgy designs to plus size, corsets, activewear, and eco fashion."

Halo Shoes just added further markdowns on their winter shoes, and their sales are as awesome as their typical price points are high, so... better go.
