—Half Pint, the N Mississippi vintage boot specialists, have announced the opening of the Half Point Clearance Outlet. Starting May 7, they'll keep hours from 11 am-6 pm out at 12836 N.E. Airport Way, with "a huge selection of cowboy, lace up and all other varieties of boots, shoes and sandals, belts and bags of all kinds and many more surprises-nothing over $12!"

—A wonderful-looking fashion presentation has been announced for May 1 (7-8 pm): Liza Rietz, BOET, 6/7, Holly Stalder, Kate Towers, and HAUNT, along with shoes from Fortress of Inca, will be representing, with shops in the 811 E Burnside complex staying open late (till 9), plus drinks and a DJ.
