As you know, the I, Anonymous Blog provides a critical public service for Portland. A) It allows people who feel voiceless to rant or confess anything they need to get off their chest—which is better than them going nuts in a McDonalds or on your bus, yes? And B) it gets commenter trolls off the other sites and in one place... kind of like fly paper or the city-wide prison in Escape from New York.

HOWEVER! One I, Anonymous writer thinks the commenters have gone too far...

The same 5 or 6 trolls comment on every IA post. You are all sad and worse than anyone posting here. You are trying to kick the IA soapbox out from any and every IA post. Most likely you are all transplants, hipsters, and don't have any fulfillment in you own lives, so you have to snidely comment and joke about other's clearly bad experiences.

Portland Mercury staff, perhaps you should consider removing the comments section of IA or consider refusing the right to not allow comments to IA posts.

Sure, we'll consider it... but before we fling open the gates of the Arkham Asylum, letting the inmates spill out into the street, LET'S TAKE A POLL ON THE SUBJECT! Go here to put in your vote and let us know what you think. (Note: This poll is NON-BINDING... and we'll make the final decision ourselves, but we value your opinion.) And while you're there, leave a comment (if you dare) and drop off your own rant or confession in the I, Anonymous Blog—where the inmates currently run the asylum.
