Someone at St. Mary's Academy hired a public relations person, apparently. The school announced it reversed its hate policy of not allowing LGBT teachers at the school. That whole fiasco could have been avoided with just a little foresight.

Portland Public Schools started today, and there are more cops on the road to keep people safe. Look out for kids and police, people.

The TV journalist and cameraman murdered by a former coworker yesterday are being mourned by their friends and families. The shooter committed suicide a few hours after the murders.

Portland's got a lot of environmental activists, and some people probably don't like them, but at least here they don't get murdered for trying to save the planet. Apparently in Brazil they do.
