After a successful debut last year the Nouveau Division Crawl returns. It’s devised by the folks at SE Wine Collective to celebrate the first wines made from this year’s harvest (it ties in with the launch of Beaujolais Nouveau in France, which is always the third Thursday of November). The ‘crawl’ part involves exploring various stops along SE Division between Imperial bottle shop and The Woodsman Tavern (other participating businesses include Sunshine Tavern, Pizza Maria, St Honore Boulangerie and Salt & Straw), with each one offering a local nouveau-style wine with accompanying bite. Get your Crawl card punched at all the stops and you’ll receive a complimentary flight for later use at SE Wine Collective. Last year’s event proved popular, with a merry spirit infecting Division, though the weather doesn’t look so good for Thursday—note that PDX Pedicab will be on hand to help get you around.
